oh! But I submitted my portfolio to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and it won a gold key! So that's exciting.

Another month, another journal. I think I like this system. It eliminates me having to be creative with titles too!

Hi guys! I thought I'd continue the current boring journal title trend. It's plenty descriptive. It's may, which means that I get back everything from my school art class. And it means that my birthday is on saturday!!!

My digital camera eats colors for breakfast. YUM.

My brother just got rock band. That game is SOOOO addictive, it's not even funny. And I'm really not that good at it...at all... it's just fun!!

I'm so excited, it's almost summer, which means I'm going to RISD for six weeks! YAY!! If anybody's ever done that before, it'd be great to talk!!

I decided that journals don't really need to have interesting titles. Just in case you were wondering. Anyway, I thought that if I wrote a list of my artistic goals for the near future here, I might actually accomplish some of them. I want to:

paint a Mcmurder
draw the four elements
illustrate that Greek myth with Persephone
draw a comic strip of a story from my mom's childhood
Paint a collage (should be interesting)
100 themes, maybe

I have a lot of things from school that I want to put up here, but I keep forgetting to scan them before I hand them in! So come june, when I get everything back, I will be unusually productive here on da
